In today's blog post from nVent, we dive into the ways one of their newest solutions, the nVent CADDY Low Voltage Accessory Clip, can help you meet the challenges of installation in today's environments.
The buildings of today rely more on technology than ever before, leaving contractors challenged with availability within cable tray pathways. The nVent CADDY Low Voltage Accessory Clip (LVAC) rises to this challenge by accommodating specialty runs of wire and cable, specifically in low voltage applications— such as security, video, fire, Wireless Access Protocol (WAP) and Power over Ethernet (PoE).
This small clip makes a big impact. Engineered to fit commonly available wire basket trays (WBT) with bottom and side mount applications, the low-profile design makes it simple to install in tight spaces—featuring easy-to-use side retaining flaps and a tool-free installation.
The LVAC’s innovative design offers several features that can make all the difference when contractors are looking to simplify installation:
- No tools required
- Quicker installation by connecting to existing basket tray
- Accommodates additional cable on the existing pathway
Datacom and low-voltage installations require specialized support products that help you improve efficiency and safety while saving money over the life of the project. In addition to the ease of installation, the LVAC is compliant with TIA requirements for PoE cable separation.
The nVent CADDY LVAC is the newest product to join nVent CADDY Spring Steel, nVent CADDY Universal Tray Support (UTS), nVent CADDY Telescoping Strut Replacement and nVent CADDY Wire Basket Tray and Support. With the addition of the WBT product line, nVent CADDY can now offer a full, innovative solution for Data Center and Network Solutions (DNS) and cable pathway management.
