Beginning Fall 2010, Accu-Tech kicks off it's LEED training seminars with Energy Efficient Data Center Cabling Infrastructure Design. This course will be held in the Washington DC / Baltimore area and is free to attend. Energy & Eco Efficient Data Center Cabling Infrastructure Design is a 4 class seminar (each class is 1 hour) that reviews the role of network cabling, as it relates to energy efficiency and the environment. The focus is data center (or any building with a data network) "best practices" for Thermal Management, Fiber Optics, Halogen Free Cable, and Network Electronics. Upon completing this seminar the attendee will have a broader knowledge of how the network cabling design can add value and efficiency to a building. A basic understanding of network cabling is beneficial for this seminar.
