From Steven Kenny of HCM:
Hitachi Cable Manchester (HCM) with its manufacturing facility located in Manchester, NH, USA, is pleased to announce the 25th anniversary of the company.
Since 1986, HCM has been designing and building high performance copper and fiber optic communication cables. And although the cable designs have changed and the applications that run over them have changed, HCM’s commitment to quality and value have not. All aspects of cable manufacturing originate at our New Hampshire facility. From new product development to final product package design, it all takes place in Manchester.
“HCM has always been a performance oriented company,” says Steven Kenney, Marketing Manager for HCM. “Our on-site engineering staff allows us to build and refine all of our cable designs so that they delivery optimum performance. And, we are always seeking ways to make our products and our company better. In fact, even in a challenging economy, we are making investments in new equipment to ensure our products remain the best performing on the market.
Our recently updated website now features videos of the manufacturing process as well as a new section on social responsibility, where HCM posts updates on environmental and community initiatives it is undertaking. And, as an indication of the pride we have in our products and our facility, we welcome and encourage our customers to visit us for a plant tour. We are very pleased with HCM’s performance over the past 25 years and we look forward to the challengesthat will come over the next 25.”
Since 1986, HCM has increased the size of its manufacturing facility three times. The last addition was completed in 2001. The facility is now approximately 300,000 square feet and accommodates three work shifts that operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
