The latest changes at the CCCA- new officers and executive committee elected.
The Communications Cable and Connectivity Association (CCCA) announced the election of new officers at its annual meeting. Elected to officer positions are: Kevin Ressler, TE Connectivity, CCCA Chairman of the Board; Randy Mortensen, Anixter, Secretary and Rob Wessels, CommScope, Treasurer. Joining the officers on the CCCA’s Executive Committee are Kevin St. Cyr, Berk-Tek, a Nexans company and Gary Stanitis, Daikin America. Mr. Ressler said, “I want to congratulate outgoing officers and members of the Executive Committee for their valuable contributions which guided CCCA’s growth and raised value to members and the Structured Cabling industry. My goal is to continue a tradition of growth by broadening our membership base and supporting CCCA initiatives that strengthen the quality and integrity of our industry.” Mr. Peri, CCCA’s Executive Director also noted, “I’m looking forward to working with CCCA’s new officers and governing body who are equally committed to preventing potentially hazardous, non-compliant cable from being imported, distributed and sold in the U.S. market. We still have a long way to go.”, Mr. Peri said. “Through our industry alerts and continuing work with UL, we are making progress.” CCCA, a non-profit corporation, has a mission to serve as the major resource for well researched, fact-based information on the technologies and products of structured cabling media to support current and future needs of the networking, IT and communications industries. CCCA also is proactive at codes and standards bodies and other trade, industry and governmental organizations in communicating and influencing policy and decisions affecting the quality, performance and societal needs of the structured cabling infrastructure. |
