    Hanwha’s Wisenet X cameras feature H.265 compression and WiseStream II, a complementary compression technology which dynamically controls encoding, balancing quality and compression according to movement in the image. Bandwidth efficiency is improved by up to 99% compared to current H.264 technology when WiseStream II is combined with H.265 compression.     WiseStream II Technology features:

    • Dynamic GOV
    • Dynamic FPS
    • Smart ROI
    • Predictive Bitrate Control (PBC)

    Users can set the WiseStream compression rate for static areas by selecting the level of compression: low, middle and high. This setup is configured globally for all H.264/H.265 profiles. The dynamic areas will retain their compression level. Below is the average reduction rate for each level. 

    • Low: Average 15% data reduction versus WiseStream: Off
    • Middle: Average 30% data size reduction versus WiseStream: Off
    • High: Average 50% data reduction versus WiseStream: Off
