In response to increasing demand for network flexibility and the move to Category 6A cabling, Hubbell has released its new HPJ Series Jack Panels, which replace standard density UDX series panels.
The HPJ Series unloaded panels provide many advantages:
- Mix and match media: copper, fiber and AV
- Mix and match colors
- Populate only what you need
- Superior 6A ANEXT performance
- Easy upgrades and repairs
The HPJ Series also offers many benefits for installers. Installers can terminate the jack in front or rear of the panel, and there is an area provided for panel ID marking, as well as integrated label holders on top of the ports. The wire cable management bar easily rotates into place with minimal cable movement. For end users, the HPJ Series offers a unified look across all panels, more visible labeling and Microsoft Excel-based label templates.
"As more devices - from lighting to AV systems - connect to networks using Power over Ethernet, panels need to offer the flexibility to support many more applications than in the past," says Nate Herring, Senior Product Manager for Hubbell. "Hubbell's new HPJ Series jack panels offer the ability to combine different connector formats, colors and network speeds at the panel level. These panels also make installation of larger Category 6A much easier by providing installers with more room to work, decreasing installation time and improving reliability."
