    Meet Leviton's Innovative LM-RDT Category 6A Cable

    AdobeStock_307279117In early 2021, Leviton introduced a cable that is so perfect for upgrades, retrofit applications or areas where space is at a premium. It's the LM-RDT cable...which stands for Leviton Manufacturing Reduced Diameter Technology! This Cat 6A UTP plenum cable has an outside diameter (OD) of only 0.230 inches. 

    How does Leviton do it? Well, LM-RDT eliminates cable cross-filler while maintaining the Cat 6A performance you require through Leviton Precision Twist Technology, which controls the cable's twist to enable that high level of performance in a much smaller form factor. LM-RDT also incorporates new Leviton FLX-1™ advanced polymer technology into the plenum-rated cable jacket for greater flexibility and easier routing through cable pathways.

    All of those technological advances come together to form the LM-RDT Cat 6A UTP plenum cable. If you're looking for more, it's part of two new Leviton end-to-end systems: the high-performance Atlas-X1® LM-RDT System, and the economical eXtreme® LM-RDT System. Both systems are designed to accommodate high-bandwidth applications where pathway space is at a premium.
