    Siemon's TERA® SPE 400m Channels Just Got Verified

    Exciting news just arrived that Siemon, the company which deploys high quality, high performance cabling infrastructure, not only announced that its TERA single-pair Ethernet (SPE) cabling system now supports 10BASE‑T1L over distances of up to 400 meters, but they verified the solution, too. This verification occurred by Siemon Labs, who conducted transmission testing in order to accurately prove that their fully-shielded solution offers superior noise immunity, virtually zero emissions and lots of transmission headroom.

    The test was coordinated to to assess their TERA SPE system's typical transmission performance. Siemon Labs did this by collecting transmission data for 400m SPE channels consisting of TERA connectors, 7A S/FTP 4-pair cables and TERA patch cords. The final test report is available upon request from Siemon Technical Services.
