About Westell

Network coverage for public safety communications and first responders has become a growing and critical focus for integrators, building owners and enterprise customers. The evolution of modern day networking technologies and the realization that not all networks are created equal has, however, created some serious integration hurdles.

Westell provides customers with the ability to install an in-building repeater that meets both existing public safety communication regulations and future mandates for emergency and disaster preparedness communications.

- Westell’s PS51080E and PS71090E BDAs are enhanced versions of the industry favorite PS Series with several new features including built-in battery charger, all required NFPA 2019 alarms, built-in annunciator panel, improved cable feed-through options, uplink squelch, and an NRTL Listing to ANSI/UL 2524, the latest standard for public safety DAS systems.
